• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar industry-standard programs.
• Registered Civil Engineer with relevant drafting background.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards (ISO, DIN).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs accurately.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and organization across multiple projects.
• Experience with drafting to meet client and project requirements.

About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join our Engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a CAD Operator, you will play a crucial role in translating engineering designs and technical specifications into precise, detailed digital drawings and models. Your work will directly support our engineering projects and contribute to the successful delivery of our services to clients across various sectors.

What you'll be doing

• Create, modify and maintain detailed technical drawings and CAD models using industry-standard software

• Convert engineering sketches, specifications and conceptual designs into accurate digital format

• Prepare construction documents, assembly drawings and technical illustrations according to established standards and client requirements

• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance with engineering standards and regulations

• Update and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects and project managers

• Organize and manage digital drawing files and documentation systems to ensure easy retrieval and version control

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to understand project requirements and deliver drawings on schedule

• Ensure all drawings meet quality standards and are prepared according to industry best practices

• Assist with the preparation of design presentations and technical documentation as required

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar industry-standard programmers

• Registered Civil Engineer

• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, conventions and standards (ISO, DIN or equivalent)

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical specifications accurately

• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Diploma or certification in drafting, engineering design or a related field

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a CAD Operator or in a similar technical drafting role

• Experience in architectural, structural, mechanical or civil engineering design is advantageous

• Familiarity with 3D modelling and BIM (Building Information Modelling) software is a plus
