About the role

We are seeking a talented CAD Operator to join us in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our engineering drafting operations. As a CAD Operator, you will be responsible for creating, modifying and optimizing technical drawings and designs using Computer-Aided Design software. This role is essential to our project delivery pipeline, ensuring that our engineering designs are accurately translated into precise digital documentation that guides construction and implementation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce accurate technical drawings and designs using CAD software, adhering to industry standards and project specifications
• Convert sketches, blueprints and design concepts provided by engineers into detailed CAD drawings
• Modify existing drawings based on feedback, revisions and design changes from senior engineers and project managers
• Ensure all drawings are properly dimensioned, annotated and formatted for clarity and ease of interpretation
• Maintain comprehensive drawing libraries and ensure proper file management, version control and documentation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to clarify design requirements and resolve any discrepancies in project specifications
• Perform quality checks on drawings to identify and correct errors before submission to clients or construction teams
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, technical specifications and project documentation
• Stay current with CAD software updates and best practices to maintain efficiency and accuracy in your work

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent programmes
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, conventions and best practices within the engineering and construction industry
• Ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings, sketches and technical specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating and modifying complex technical drawings
• Solid knowledge of architectural and/or building systems design principles
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and address drawing inconsistencies
• Diploma or certification in Engineering Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology or related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a CAD Operator or in a similar drafting role
• Experience with building electronics systems, electrical design or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination is highly desirable
• Familiarity with 3D modelling and visualisation techniques would be advantageous
