Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing professional to lead electrical components procurement, price settlements, value engineering and cost-reduction initiatives. You will coordinate with suppliers, drive negotiations and manage capex-related tool investments.

The role requires a BE/BTech in Electrical or Electrical & Instrumentation with 4–8 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement planning, and data-driven cost optimization across supplier networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Instrumentation.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing / electronics components.
• Experience in cost reduction, value engineering, and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing for electrical components including price settlement.
• Evaluate and negotiate value engineering and cost reduction proposals.
• Capex / investment settlement activities (FTG, Injection & stamped tools).
• Control material costs and manage ECN/RoCM price amendments.
• Leverage data analytics to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Negotiate and close supplier contracts and legal agreements.
