Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Philippines seeks an experienced Electrical/ Electronics Engineer specializing in automotive ECU development and vehicle networking.

You will lead system integration efforts, review designs for compliance, and coordinate with ECU owners, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure timely, quality deliveries. Applicant should have BE/B Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics, with strong knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, DoIP, Ethernet, and functional

Qualifications

• Very good knowledge in Vehicle electronics & In Vehicle networking systems - Infotainment, Body control module, ADAS system, Radars, Parking sensor, Airbag, ECU architecture software architecture.

Responsibilities

• 1. Initiate, interact with CFT and lead design engineers for system integration to realise E&E features with quality, cost and time.
• 2. Evaluate existing and new designs for compliance to internal and external standards and review designs for governmental regulation compliance.
• 3. Review with internal and external stakeholders for deliveries as per project timeline (ECU owner, CME, manufacturing, plant engineering, launch team, PE, project team and EOL suppliers).
• 4. In plant/field failure & analysis: analyze field reported concerns and provide solutions to reduce/eliminate it and capture issues in upcoming products.
• 5. Demonstrate high problem solving ability, use quality tools, DFMEA, design reviews & project management.
• 6. Fluent in data analytics and demonstrate ownership of projects using MPDS, DFMEA, problem solving tools and project management tools.
• 7. Conduct internal meetings with proper agenda and prepare presentations for top management reviews.
• 8. Ensure analysis of interface issues to respective teams during validations of vehicle level / manufacturing plant level and to ECU owners.
• 9. Ensure consolidation, tracking, resolution of software critical issues arising out of validation & manufacturing during builds.
• 10. Knowledge of Automotive ECU development and EOL software development process.

Job description

1. Shall be well versed with Electrcial and Electronics vehicle system integration such as-

• - Infotainment & Telematics
• - Rotating machines
• - Electric vehicle architecture
• - Display system i.e. Digital Instrument cluster,
• - Body electronics
• - Wiring harness
• - ECU architecture

2. Initiate, Interact with CFT & Lead the design engineers for system integration to realise the required E&E feature with Quality, Cost and Time.

General Requirements

Very good knowledge in Vehicle electronics & In Vehilce netwroking systems - Infotainment, Body control module, ADAS system, Radars, Parking sensor, Airbag, ECU architeture Software architecture.

Knowledge on Eletrical and E&E agregates in the vehicle- Distribution system, , Sensors & Actuators, , Starting & Charging system, Lighting system, Switches,

Knowledge on communication protocols like LIN, CAN, CAN-FD, Flexray , DoIP and Ethernet.

Familiar with Functional Safety related requirements in Architecture and related standards & processes.

Basic knowledge in CAD tools - prefferably CATIA & Awareness of vehicle schematic design tools and Wire harness tools Capital Tools( Capital Logic, Harness XC)
