Job summary

WeFund is a leading fintech company in the Philippines, seeking a Business Training Specialist to design, deliver, and improve training across operational units. The role focuses on closing performance gaps and developing practical learning solutions aligned with business needs.

You will conduct onboarding and ongoing skills trainings, support learning course development, and ensure knowledge transfer across operations, products, and policies. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• At least 3 years in training or learning and development with design and facilitation experience.
• Strong logical thinking and the ability to quickly grasp new operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; willingness to share knowledge.
• Conversational level English required; on-site work alignment with business hours.
• Fintech or financial services experience preferred.

JOB TITLE: Business Training Specialist

Job Summary:

• The Training Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs that strengthen the knowledge, skills, and performance of employees across assigned operational units.
• The role also identifies performance and capability gaps, develops practical learning solutions based on business needs and industry best practices, and supports the continuous improvement of frontline operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs for assigned operational units, including new hire onboarding, ongoing skills enhancement, and other trainings as agreed.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to identified employees related to operations, products, systems, marketing activities, policies, and related system operations
• Support the development and/or develop learning courses in taking into consideration market research for best practices, and current frontline work practices.
• Actively identify performance challenges and skill gaps, and recommend and implement effective solutions to improve performance.
• Complete training-related tasks assigned by the company or senior management, including business and customer research, translation, and other ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree or above.
• With at least 3 years of training or learning and development experience - training design and facilitation.
• Strong logical thinking, learning, and ability to grasp new knowledge and company operations rapidly.
• Strong communication and writing skills, and willingness to share knowledge.
• Conversational level English proficiency required.
• Able to work onsite and align training schedules with business operation hours.
• Financial services or fintech industry experience preferred.
