Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Metro Manila is seeking an Operations Analyst to drive system usage, training, and continuous improvement across air and ocean flows. You will act as the link between the business line and end users, support deployment projects, and contribute to global digital initiatives.

The role requires at least 5 years in operations with hands-on experience in CargoWise, strong knowledge of air/ocean processes, and a track record of coaching staff.

Qualifications

• Forwarding education and supply chain training.
• Min. 5 years’ experience in operations (air/ocean)
• CargoWise system knowledge is a plus
• Strong knowledge of air or ocean operations
• Excellent knowledge of air/ocean processes and related tools
• Proven coaching capabilities at desk level

Responsibilities

• Own UAT: develop test scripts and provide feedback to IT and regional teams
• Create local work instructions for tasks when required
• Support digital transformation projects and evaluate innovative solutions
• Own Master Data Management: cleanup and maintain suppliers/customers/vendors

• Involvement in ONETMS deployment project, be responsible for various tasks assigned such as UAT, support of end user training
• Support of Innovation & Digital

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis - Utilize data analysis tools to identify areas for improvement, inefficiencies, and opportunities within Operations
• - Collaborate with Operations to develop and implement action plan to enhance operational performance, reduce cost to serve and increase service quality (flawless operations)
• - Use the OCA and ACA outcomes and findings to identify gaps and areas of improvement. Create and steer the Action plan with Operations
• Performance Improvement/ Change Request - Identify improvement opportunities in the operational systems, assess changes proposed by the end users and create (or review) change request. Submit and discuss CR with the BL at Cluster, Regional, Global level (and eventually with IT). Follow-up respective implementation.
• Training & Support - Act as a trainer for systems used in operations for newcomers and existing operators. Organize regular skill up trainings and support to staff on best practices and the effective use of technology.
• Process Optimization - Conduct regular assessments of operational processes and workflows, recommending and implementing changes to optimize performance
• System UAT - Responsible for UAT, help develop test scripts and provide pro-active feedback to the Regional/ Global System and Process Teams and IT team
• Documentation creation - Create local Work Instructions (WI) upon approval of a Change Request, or for an exception from the Global/ Regional Team or for a WI already defined as ‘local’ in the process, to explain how the specific tasks are to be performed by the end user
• Innovation & Digital - Support digital transformation initiatives by participating in Global/ Regional Proof of Concept (POC) projects for new technologies and system that can optimize operations. Assist in evaluating innovative solutions that align with company goals
• Master Data Management - Key Owner of MDM. Conduct regular clean up and maintenance of the organizations (suppliers/ customers/ local vendors)

Qualifications

• Forwarding Education. Supply Chain training – be it specific theoretical and practical training or ‘on the job' training
• Min. 5 years’ experience in operations (end user of Air & Operations and operational systems) – Air or Ocean, or both
• CargoWise system knowledge and experiences in operating CargoWise in day to day operations is a plus
• Very good knowledge of Air or / and Ocean operations
• Excellent knowledge of specific Air or Ocean processes and related tools
• Proven coaching capabilities at desk level
