The Sales/Business Development Manager will build and scale the company’s commodities business line, serving as the commercial owner responsible for sourcing, pricing, demand planning, customer development, and disciplined execution. This role is central to establishing commodities as an adjacent growth engine that expands account access, increases revenue volume, and strengthens the company’s presence in price‑sensitive segments.
Build Category B into a meaningful revenue contributor aligned with the company’s 2026–2028 growth targets.
Develop and execute a commercial plan covering product selection, pricing strategy, margin thresholds, and customer penetration.
Drive new account openings and repeat‑purchase volume through disciplined selling and strong customer relationships.
Ensure Category B supports the path toward ₱700M annual sales by 2028.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard commodity suppliers with reliable availability, competitive pricing, and repeat‑purchase potential.
Maintain strong supplier communication to manage lead times, pricing changes, and supply risks.
Build a defined product shortlist with target margins, monthly volume expectations, and customer segments.
Set and enforce minimum margin thresholds to prevent erosion.
Monitor commodity price movements, FX trends, and global raw‑material volatility.
Implement stop‑loss rules and inventory discipline to avoid overstocking or margin dilution.
Work closely with operations, inventory planning, and logistics to ensure reliable supply and on‑time delivery.
Lead monthly demand planning and forecasting for commodities.
Ensure inventory levels match confirmed demand and avoid exposure to price swings.
Identify accounts with commodity demand and develop tailored commercial offers.
Use commodities as an entry point to expand relationships and cross‑sell technical products.
Support the company’s goal of expanding active clients from 80 to 110 in 2026.
Track and report commodity sales contribution, new accounts opened, repeat‑purchase volume, and margin performance.
Provide monthly updates on demand planning, supplier status, and operational risks.
Contribute to the management dashboard for category performance.
Minimum 5–7 years in feed commodities, raw materials, premix ingredients, or agricultural trading.
Strong background in pricing, sourcing, supply chain coordination, and commercial negotiation.
Experience selling to feed mills, integrators, or large farms is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of commodity markets, price drivers, and supply‑chain risks.
Ability to manage margins, negotiate supplier terms, and evaluate sourcing options.
Strong forecasting, demand planning, and inventory discipline.
Highly disciplined, analytical, and commercially driven.
Strong cross‑functional coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a volatile commodity environment.
