Why we need you:
You will play a key role indriving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and expanding our presence within the shipping and maritime industry. You will develop strategic partnerships, generate new business, and work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' needs
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and develop commercial proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements to secure new business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Promote the company's services through presentations, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and provide ongoing account support.
- Prepare business development reports, forecasts, and tender documentation.
- Represent the company and expand its presence within target markets.
You need these qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- Working experience as business development manager, sales, or commercial roles within the shipping, maritime, logistics or ship management industry.
- Strong understanding of the shipping industry, including ship management, crewing, port operations, maritime logistics, or marine services.
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Ability to identify market opportunities, conduct competitor analysis, and develop business growth strategies.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
It would be nice if:
- Have an established professional network within the maritime and shipping industry, particularly in Asia and the Middle East.
- Have experience expanding business operations into new markets and regions.
- Previous experience in maritime catering management will be seen as an advantage.
