Role Description The Senior Business Analyst - Banking is a full-time hybrid role based in Taguig, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for analyzing banking business processes, gathering and documenting business requirements, and translating them into clear functional specifications for technology and operations teams. The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders across business units, technology, and compliance to identify improvement opportunities, support solution design, and ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational standards. Daily activities include facilitating workshops and meetings, preparing business cases and process flows, reviewing system changes, and supporting testing and implementation of new or enhanced banking products and services. The role also involves monitoring implemented solutions, providing analytical insights, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the banking domain.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and proven experience in business analysis within the banking or financial services sector.
• Ability to understand and optimize business processes, including process mapping, gap analysis, and workflow design.
• Experience eliciting, documenting, and managing business requirements, and translating them into functional and technical specifications.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels, facilitate meetings, and prepare clear documentation and presentations.
• Experience working in hybrid environments (onsite in Taguig and remote), with strong time management and self-organization capabilities.
• Knowledge of banking products, operations, and regulatory considerations; experience in digital banking or core banking systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., use cases, user stories, UML diagrams, process modeling tools).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar are preferred but not required.
