Job summary

1Life Inc. is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to support analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise and operational systems. You will document requirements, map processes, and collaborate with developers, QA, product, and operations to deliver effective solutions.

You will gather requirements through interviews and workshops, translate them into functional specs and user stories, and help test and validate solutions from inception to UAT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, business, CS or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as HRIS, financial systems, EHR, or similar systems.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Trello, Monday.com, MS Teams, or Google Workspace.
• Basic understanding of QA/testing activities.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and workflow studies.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, or process documents.
• Map current vs. future-state workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in operational audits and workflow assessments to find bottlenecks and automation potentials.
• Support design of optimized processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Support implementation and enhancement of enterprise systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
• Prepare wireframes, prototypes, and process diagrams to support solution design discussions.
• Support the creation and execution of test cases, test scripts, and UAT documentation.
• Facilitate discussions between business users, developers, and external partners.
