Job summary

OPSolutions PH, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to translate business needs into technical requirements and drive improvements across processes.

You will gather requirements from stakeholders, document user stories and acceptance criteria, and map As-Is and To-Be processes. Collaborating with developers, QA, project managers, and business users, you will support solution design, perform UAT, and help manage risks, dependencies, and project success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, IS, CS, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, systems analysis, or a related role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in requirements gathering and documentation
• Ability to create process flows, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
• Basic understanding of databases, SQL, APIs, and business systems is an advantage
• Preferably with experience with UAT and system implementation

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Understand current processes and identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Create project proposals and SOWs, document the requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Create As-Is and To-Be process flows.
• Work closely with developers, QA, project managers, and business users.
• Clarify requirements and support solution design and implementation.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered solutions.
• Identify business impacts, risks, and dependencies.
• Support process improvement and technology initiatives.
• Communicate requirements and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in using JIRA to create and track project team tickets to ensure that requirements are properly assigned through tasks and are being completed on time.
