Job summary

Capgemini Philippines Corp. is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to translate banking requirements into API and integration solutions within an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, API Designers, and development teams to ensure APIs meet business goals and regulatory standards. You’ll elicit, document, and validate requirements, create epics and user stories, support SIT/UAT, and help drive production readiness while upholding security and governance in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, including 3+ years in API, integration, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience in Agile delivery and banking/financial services environments.
• Preferred Domain Expertise Retail and Corporate Banking, Payments, Lending, Digital Channels, Open Banking, Cards, Treasury & Cash Management, and Regulatory Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Analyze business processes, integration needs, and API opportunities. Define API use cases, business rules, data mappings, and service interactions.
• Create and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items. Produce BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, integration documents, and data mapping artifacts.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirement validation, and cross-team alignment. Support SIT, UAT, and production readiness activities.

Your Role

Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating banking business requirements into API and integration solutions within an Agile delivery environment. Works closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects, API Designers, and development teams to ensure API products align with business goals, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Analyze business processes, integration needs, and API opportunities. Define API use cases, business rules, data mappings, and service interactions.

Create and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items. Produce BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, integration documents, and data mapping artifacts. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirement validation, and cross-team alignment.

Support SIT, UAT, and production readiness activities. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and governance requirements.

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, including 3+ years in API, integration, or digital transformation initiatives. Experience in Agile delivery and banking/financial services environments.

Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills. Preferred Domain Expertise Retail and Corporate Banking, Payments, Lending, Digital Channels, Open Banking, Cards, Treasury & Cash Management, and Regulatory Compliance.

Technical Skills

API & Integration: REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, Microservices, Integration Patterns, Event-Driven Architecture. Tools: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Miro, Postman, SwaggerHub.

Data

SQL, Data Mapping, Data Modeling, Interface Specifications.

Key Competencies
