Job summary

NCS Group is seeking a Mid Business Analyst in the Philippines to support analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes and system requirements. You will work with senior analysts, project managers, developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure requirements translate into effective technology solutions.

You will gather requirements, document specifications, and contribute to BRD/FRD creation, process mapping, and user stories while participating in Agile ceremonies and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Min of 3 years of Business Analysis or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements elicitation sessions.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, process flows, and use cases.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to clarify business requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios and coordinating with business users.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure requirements traceability.
• Assist in change request analysis and impact assessment.
• Support project implementation activities including training and post-go-live support.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Min of 3 years of Business Analysis or related experience.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw. io.
• Basic knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good documentation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
