Asticom Technology Inc. seeks a Building Engineer to oversee technical operations at a premier waterfront destination in Subic. You’ll ensure all building systems run reliably and safely for tenants and visitors, with attention to coastal conditions.

Based in the Subic area, you will coordinate with regulatory agencies, lead maintenance programs, and support fit-out reviews for new tenants. PRC-licensed engineers with 1–2 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with PRC license.
• 1–2 years of facilities or building engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale HVAC, power, and fire protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance of MEP systems with corrosion and weather resilience focus.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and tenant requests.
• Supervise technicians and contractors ensuring safety and compliance.
• Monitor energy and water usage; implement efficiency projects.
• Coordinate with SBMA, BFP and regulators for inspections and permits.
• Prepare cost estimates, project plans, and progress reports.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Building Engineer to lead technical operations at our premier waterfront destination in Subic. You will ensure all building systems operate reliably, efficiently, and safely — preserving our high standards for tenants, visitors, and the community. This role requires adaptability to coastal conditions and close coordination with local regulatory bodies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage MEP systems — HVAC, power generation, electrical distribution, water treatment, fire safety, and building envelope — with special attention to corrosion and weather resilience in a coastal environment

• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs; minimize downtime and extend asset life

• Respond to after-hours emergencies, equipment failures, and tenant engineering requests

• Supervise maintenance technicians and external contractors; ensure safety protocols and Subic Freeport compliance standards are strictly followed

• Monitor energy and water usage; design and implement efficiency projects

• Liaise with SBMA, BFP, and other regulatory agencies on inspections, permits, and environmental compliance

• Prepare cost estimates, project plans, and progress reports for leadership

• Oversee fit-out reviews and utility coordination for new tenants

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering — PRC License required

• 1-2 years experience in facilities or building engineering — mall, commercial, or resort setting preferred

• Hands‑on experience with large‑scale HVAC, power, and fire protection systems

• Familiarity with coastal facility maintenance, corrosion control, and tropical weather preparedness

• Knowledge of local regulatory frameworks — Subic Bay Freeport Zone familiarity is a strong advantage

• Based in Zambales / Bataan area or willing to relocate immediately; available for on‑call response
