Job summary

Samba Bluewater Properties Corporation is seeking a Head Engineer – Property Development to lead engineering planning, site development, and construction execution for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. You will coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure quality, cost control, and timely delivery.

The role requires a Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) with 5+ years in property development or related fields, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) required.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in property development or construction.
• Experience in planning, site development, construction supervision and project implementation.
• Residential subdivision and/or condominium development experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities, grading, and horizontal infrastructure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, interpret, and evaluate engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Willing to conduct regular site inspections in Subic/Olongapo, Zambales.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering planning, site development, and construction implementation of property development projects.
• Develop and oversee engineering plans for residential subdivisions, condos, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Plan and develop roads, drainage systems, utilities, earthworks, and site infrastructure.
• Review and coordinate civil, structural, drainage, road, and utilities requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEPF consultants, surveyors, contractors, suppliers, and other professionals.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, quality standards, and schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical direction to contractors.
• Monitor progress, workmanship, materials, and compliance with requirements.
• Identify technical issues and implement solutions; prepare progress and technical reports for management.

About the role

Samba Bluewater Properties Corporation is looking for an experienced and highly capable Head Engineer – Property Development to lead the engineering, site development, construction planning, and implementation of property development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and overseeing engineering and construction activities for residential subdivisions, condominium projects, commercial developments, mixed-use developments, and other real estate projects. The Head Engineer will serve as the lead engineering professional for the development, working closely with management, architects, consultants, contractors, government agencies, and other project stakeholders to ensure that projects are properly planned, technically sound, cost-effective, and completed according to approved plans, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering planning, site development, and construction implementation of property development projects.
• Develop and oversee engineering plans and requirements for residential subdivisions, condominium projects, commercial developments, mixed-use projects, and other real estate developments.
• Lead the planning and development of roads, drainage systems, utilities, earthworks, grading, site infrastructure, and other horizontal development works.
• Review, evaluate, and coordinate civil, structural, drainage, road, utilities, and other engineering requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEPF consultants, surveyors, contractors, suppliers, and other technical professionals.
• Oversee construction activities and site development works to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical direction to contractors and project teams.
• Monitor construction progress, workmanship, materials, and compliance with approved engineering and construction requirements.
• Identify technical issues, construction risks, delays, and site problems and implement appropriate solutions.
• Prepare engineering reports, project progress reports, accomplishment reports, and technical recommendations for management.

About you

• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) – required.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in property development, subdivision development, condominium development, commercial development, site development, or construction.
• Proven experience in planning, site development, construction supervision, and project implementation.
• Experience in residential subdivision and/or condominium development is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of site development, roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities, grading, and horizontal infrastructure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, interpret, review, and evaluate engineering plans, architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong project management, leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to conduct regular site inspections and field work and work in Subic/Olongapo, Zambales.
