Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide design and engineering support for global clients. Responsibilities include preparing detailed design drawings, project specifications, and conducting field investigations for HVAC and plumbing systems.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed Mechanical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering projects, proficient in AutoCAD, and willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer required.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Willing to travel locally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare detailed drawings and project specifications.
• Conduct preliminary field investigations for HVAC and plumbing.
• Select materials considering safety and cost efficiency.
• Provide QA/QC oversight as needed.
• Coordinate with CAD personnel on design preparation.

Job description

The Mechanical Engineer will be supporting Planate Management Group’s global clients in providing design plans which consist of all aspects of Mechanical engineering work.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prepare detailed design drawings, project specifications, cost estimates, construction schedules, and other requirements needed for the proper implementation of the project.
• Carry out preliminary field investigations and studies to determine the requirements associated with heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing system of a particular project
• Select appropriate materials and equipment for the project with due consideration for safety, efficiency, standardization, and costs
• Provide QA/QC work as needed
• Coordinate with CAD personnel in preparing design drawings
• Maintain and update technical data and drawings of existing and newly completed or modified equipment and systems
• Coordinate with superiors on the various project requirements for planning and implementation
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer
• Minimum of 5 years in mechanical engineering projects
• Experience and familiarity with construction guide specifications, advantage
• Minimum of 2 training certificates in relation to the position
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other Microsoft Office Applications
• Willing to be temporarily deployed locally and internationally to address matters related to project needs
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to new technologies
• Excellent oral and written communication and skills
• Possess a Philippine passport and a driver’s License
