Job summary

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd. seeks a BSS License Management Analyst to partner with Client Service Managers, BRMs, Procurement, Finance, and stakeholders to manage licensing needs and ensure renewal strategies are optimized.

You will analyze renewal agreements, coordinate and execute renewals, and keep license inventories accurate while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or related field preferred.
  • 4–7 years of experience in software license management, contract management, business analysis, project management, budgeting, or related fields.

BSS License Management – Analyst
Job Description
Primary Job Function
  • Support Business Solutions & Services (BSS) software license management by partnering with Client Service Managers (CSMs), Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), Procurement, Finance, and business stakeholders to manage licensing needs.
  • Analyze software renewal agreements and provide recommendations on renewal strategies, cost optimization, and budget alignment.
  • Coordinate and execute software renewals, ensuring timely processing of sourcing requests, purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
  • Maintain accurate software asset inventories and license tracking tools throughout the license lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT, Procurement, and Finance policies and procedures.
Core Responsibilities
  • Manage software license renewals by confirming requirements, initiating procurement requests, and ensuring timely PO and invoice processing.
  • Maintain and update software asset inventory tracking tools.
  • Prioritize renewals to minimize business disruption and maintain application support.
  • Monitor renewal costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets and funding sources.
  • Resolve invoice, payment, and vendor inquiries by identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Prepare and support recurring reporting, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing requirements and corporate policies.
Position Accountability / Scope
  • Independently manage assignments with minimal supervision, applying analytical judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with and support cross-functional stakeholders, including CSMs, BRMs, and other IT teams, Procurement, Finance, Divisional business partners and vendors.
  • Provide guidance to contingent workers and assist with team coordination as needed.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple priorities.
Minimum Education / Experience / Training Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • 4-7 years of experience in software license management, contract management, business analysis, project management, budgeting, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of software asset lifecycle management, compliance requirements, and licensing practices a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and reporting/tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Willing and able to work in US business hours to effectively support meetings, stakeholders, and global counterparts primarily located in the United States.
  • Demonstrates a proactive mindset by identifying requirements, anticipating next steps, and driving work to completion with minimal direction.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business priorities and willing to take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships, collaborate effectively across teams, and communicate professionally with diverse stakeholders and vendors.
