Job summary

BTSMC Managing Solutions, Inc (formerly Brunel Technical Services Manpower Corp) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead brownfield energy projects from planning through completion. The role is based in Makati with frequent travel to project sites, including Naga and others as required.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in energy/brownfield project leadership and PMP certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering.
• Graduates of technical courses with significant relevant experience may also be considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Energy or Power Industry.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience managing brownfield or industrial projects.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership or people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage brownfield projects from planning to completion, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and provide regular status updates to management.
• Support project governance through Management of Change (MoC), operational readiness activities, project controls, and proper close-out documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality, and information security standards, while promoting a safe and compliant work environment.

Licenses & Certifications

• PRC License preferred.




• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.




• Relevant technical and project management training certifications are an advantage.

• Safeguard company information assets by maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability of project information.




• Perform other duties that may be assigned in support of business operations.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong background in brownfield project management, project planning and execution, stakeholder management, management of change (MoC), and project management methodologies.




• Working knowledge of project risk management, cost estimation and budget control, contract management, and operational readiness and assurance.




• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management and collaboration tools.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Zero Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR)




• Cost Performance Index (CPI): 1.0




• Schedule Performance Index (SPI): Two months ahead of schedule target




• Zero compliance violations

Working Conditions

• Site-based role requiring regular travel to project locations.




• Exposure to industrial and high-risk work environments.




• Required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with site regulations.

Other Details

• Work Schedule: Five (5) working days per week with 10hrs./day.

• Work Location: Initial assignment in Makati, with frequent travel to Naga and other project sites as required.
