Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a CDP Baker to manage daily bakery operations aboard our ship in the Philippines. You will oversee production, quality and presentation of bread for daily menus, forecast production, and minimize waste while controlling costs.

You will lead and train bakery staff, ensure USPH compliance and cleanliness, coordinate with a Head Baker, and maintain equipment and standards in a multicultural, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience as a CDP Baker in upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting.
• Culinary school degree required.
• Strong management skills in multicultural environments.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Superior customer service and teambuilding abilities.
• Knowledge of personalized services, guest satisfaction evaluation techniques.
• Strong planning, coaching, organizing, staffing, controlling, and evaluating skills.
• Intermediate computer software skills.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles such as Debits/Credits and adjustments.
• Ability to write reports and establish rapport with ship's Senior Officers and corporate office.

Responsabilités

• Ensures smooth operation of Bakery Shop and production daily according to policies.
• Directs, coaches, supports, supervises, and evaluates staff with Head Baker.
• Responsible for production, quality, and presentation of bread for daily menus.
• Prepares production forecasts and records leftovers to avoid wastage and control costs.
• Supervise bread display setup in buffets.
• Ensure USPH rules are followed daily and bakery cleanliness per Executive Chef schedule.
• Ensure pantry shops are ready for USPH inspections.
• Oversees requisition and transportation of items from main stores to bakery.
• Ensures recipes/master list and yields meet company standards.
• Completes daily consumption recap.
• Ensure bakery personnel punctual and properly uniformed.
• Familiar with Time and Attendance procedures and work schedules.
• Assist guests and crew with inquiries; attend meetings and training.
• Accountable for daily production recap and coaching of team.
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor or management.
