Job summary

Celebrity Cruises seeks an experienced Pastry Cook to manage the pastry shop operations onboard, ensuring quality and presentation of daily desserts in line with ship policies.

You will assist in production forecasting, maintain USPH compliance, support pastry display setup, and help minimize waste while controlling food costs. Strong English communication and shipboard experience are preferred for this key role aboard our vessels.

Qualifications

• Three years' pastry cook experience in upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or banqueting service (shipboard preferred).
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation and control of the Pastry Shop and daily production.
• Oversee production, quality and presentation of pastry and desserts for daily menus.
• Assist in forecasting production and recording leftovers to control costs.
• Set up pastry displays in buffets and assist with USPH inspections.
