Celebrity Cruises is seeking a skilled Baker to manage daily bakery operations aboard the ship. You will ensure production, quality, and presentation of bread for daily menus, while maintaining USPH compliance and cost controls.

Work includes forecasting, waste reduction, and assisting in display setup. Strong shipboard experience and knowledge of sanitation standards are essential to support the Executive Chef and crew needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience as a Baker in upscale hospitality.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment.
• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure smooth operation and control of the Bakery Shop daily according to policies.
• Responsible for production, quality, and presentation of the bread assortment for daily menus.
• Assist Head Baker in preparing production forecasts and recording leftovers to minimize waste and control food costs.
• Assist in setting up bread display in buffets.
• Ensure compliance with USPH rules and regulations daily.
• Oversee cleaning of the bakery shop as per Executive Chef’s schedule to minimize equipment damage.
• Prepare bakery for USPH inspections.
• Coordinate requisition and transport of items from main stores to the bakery shop as needed.
• Ensure recipes and yields comply with company standards.
• Assist CDP Baker with daily consumption recap as required by Executive Chef.
• Acquire knowledge to comply with ship’s SOP and assist guests and crew with inquiries.
• Attend meetings, training activities, and all work-related duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
