Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a CDP Pastry in upscale hotel/resort/cruise ship preferred.
• Strong management skills in multicultural, dynamic environments.
• Excellent communication and guest satisfaction skills.
• Proven teambuilding and conflict resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of personalized service principles and quality standards.
• Solid planning, coaching, organizing, staffing and evaluation capabilities.
• Basic accounting principles understanding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pastry galley operations and daily production per company policy.
• Direct, coach and evaluate pastry staff with Assistant Pastry Chef.
• Ensure production quality and presentation for daily menus.
• Forecast production and monitor leftovers to control costs.
• Supervise pastry and dessert displays at buffets.
• Maintain USPH compliance and cleaning schedules.
• Ensure shipboard crew and guests receive service queries support.
• Prepare daily production recap and train Pastry Cooks.
