Job Description:
Level Up Talent Solutions is looking for a Brand Assistant to support brand, product, and marketing activities within the FMCG or related industry. The role will assist with product launches, promotional campaigns, category analysis, merchandising, market monitoring, and coordination across internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Support new product development, product launches, promotional campaigns, and brand initiatives.
Monitor category performance, pricing, assortment, promotions, merchandising, and competitor activities.
Assist in preparing plan-o-grams, shelf space recommendations, and product placement guidelines.
Conduct market visits, store checks, and consumer immersion activities to monitor product availability and execution.
Prepare reports, analyze market data and sales performance, and recommend improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Operations, and other teams to ensure timely execution.
Maintain brand, product, campaign, and project documentation using Microsoft Office, project management tools, and ERP systems.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications.
At least 1-2 years of experience in Brand, Trade Marketing, Product Management, or a related role, preferably in the FMCG or related industry. Fresh graduates with outstanding academic achievements, relevant internships, or leadership experience may also be considered.
Experience in new product development (NPD), supporting product launches, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives.
Basic understanding of Category Management principles, including category performance analysis, assortment planning, pricing, promotion, shelf management, and merchandising.
Familiarity with Plan-o-grams, shelf space optimization, product placement, and merchandising standards.
Good communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work collaboratively across departments (ex. Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, and Operation)
Ability to prepare reports, interpret market data and internal sales reports to generate actionable insights and recommend actions to improve sales performance and market competitiveness.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), or marketing project management tools for reporting, analysis, and presentations. Has working knowledge in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms for transaction processing.
Can work beyond regular business hours, including Mondays through Saturdays or as business needs require (for market visits, store checks, and consumer immersion activities to monitor product availability, pricing, merchandising, and competitor activities).
Possesses other personality attributes such as:
