You will supervise planning, monitor performance, coach staff, manage the branch portfolio, and coordinate actions with the Operations Manager to drive results.

• Oversee implementation of microfinance products
• Check processing of clients' loans by Account Officers
• Oversee events for Account Officers and clients
• Deal with delinquent accounts
• Evaluate and support staff performance
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Account Officers
• Forward performance evaluations for approval
• Motivate Account Officers and secure resources for field work
• Identify and implement motivation strategies and recognize top performers

Description

This is a full-time and regular position. The Branch Supervisor ensures that the products and services of GPMI are implemented by Account Officers in his/her team, according to the Strategic Objectives. Provides support to the team in the Branch Office under his/her care.

Supervisory Tasks

• Creates plan for day-to-day operation of the Branch Office
• Monitors the day-to-day achievement of set plan
• Provides immediate support to the staff in the Branch Office
• Manages financial status of the Branch Office
• Manages total portfolio of the Branch Office
• Recommends plans of action to the Operations Manager

Specific Tasks

1. Supervise Account Officers
2. a.Oversee implementation of microfinance products
3. b.Check Account Officer’s processing of clients’ loans
4. c. Oversee regular and special events for Account Officers and clients
5. d. Deal with delinquent accounts
6. 2. Oversee Implementation of microfinance products and services
7. a. Check, review or validate product and services applications and requirements
8. b. Conduct of Credit Investigation and Background Investigation) CI/BI)
9. c. Facilitate appraisal of loan applications
10. d. Monitor loan utilization
11. e. Monitor implementation of other products and services
12. f. Communicate management plans and decisions
13. 3. Evaluate and Support Staff Performance
14. a.Appraise the Performance of Account Officers
15. 4. Act on the evaluation recommendation
16. a. Provide coaching and mentoring to the Account Officer in order to improve performance.
17. b. Forward result of the performance evaluation to the Immediate Supervisor for approval.
18. 5. Motivate Account Officer
19. a. Facilitate the provision of material resources necessary for enhancing the performance of
20. Account Officers in field work.
21. b. Identify and implement positive-stroking strategies to motivate Account Officers.
22. c. Recommend deserving Account Officers who performed within or above the performance
23. standard for awards or incentives.
24. d. Put the Account Officer who did not perform well in the Personnel Improvement Plan,
25. in accordance with the policies and procedures of GPMI.
