Maybank is seeking a Service Officer to support the Service Head in daily branch operations, covering cash and vault management, transaction approvals, account administration, ATM operations, compliance monitoring, and audit-ready controls.

This role emphasizes service quality, risk management, and customer satisfaction while assisting in staff supervision, training, and performance reviews to contribute to branch growth and overall operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year college degree.
• With at least 4 years of experience in branch banking operations.
• With leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge and exposure to branch operations is an advantage.
• With good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees branch operations, cash management, and transaction controls.
• Reviews and approves account opening, maintenance, and customer transactions.
• Ensures compliance with AML, KYC, audit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Manages ATM operations, cash vaults, accountable forms, and branch controls.
• Supervises branch operations staff and supports training and performance management.
• Resolves customer concerns and ensures excellent service delivery.
• Supports business growth through cross-selling, referrals, and client relationship management.
• Prepares operational reports and ensures adherence to bank policies and procedures.
