Job summary

Branch Banking Division is seeking a Branch Service Officer to oversee daily branch operations, cash management, and compliance with BSP regulations. The role focuses on maintaining safekeeping of cash vaults, documents, and accountable forms, while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring adherence to bank policies.

Candidates should have banking operations experience, a relevant degree, and a proven track record in achieving targets.

Qualifications

• Preferably a graduate of business, finance, economic, management or marketing degree.
• Preferably 2 years of successful banking experience with heavy emphasis on operations and business development in financial services.
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of banking and financial product regulations is also valuable. In-depth experience in bank branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash custodianship, tellering, handling of new accounts functions and with bookkeeping.
• Ensure branch complies with all Bank policies and BSP regulations and other applicable rules.
• Maintain internal control procedures and ensure high service quality for customers.
• Coordinate with the Branch Business Head on daily maturing placements and client needs.
