Job summary

Bank of Commerce (Philippines) is seeking a Chief Control Steward for the branch to oversee execution, supervision and management of operational flow and service delivery with emphasis on regulatory compliance and ethics.

The role focuses on preventing losses, upholding internal controls, improving audit performance, and ensuring efficient customer service. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to organize and supervise personnel and duties across the branch.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to internal and regulatory policies, procedures and code of ethics.
• Capable of maintaining accuracy and timeliness in branch transactions.
• Able to plan, organize and oversee personnel in coordination with Branch Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensures avoidance of monetary losses by strict adherence to policies and control mechanisms.
• Contributes to branch audit performance by enforcing internal controls in transactions and processes.
• Contributes to customer retention through efficient servicing of transactions.
• Coordinates with Branch Manager to plan and oversee staff assignments and responsibilities.
