The role involves reconciling cash, monitoring accounts receivable, reviewing branch transactions, and preparing regular financial reports. A 6-day workweek is required, with collaboration across Sales, Aftersales, Parts, and other departments to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, management accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in branch accounting, retail, automotive dealership, or similar operations is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of basic and general accounting principles.
• Experience in account reconciliation, financial reporting, and transaction review.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience using accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential financial information.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
• Willing to work on a six (6)-day workweek.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions of the branch.
• Record and review branch transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
• Monitor and reconcile cash, collections, accounts, and other financial records.
• Review daily collection and transaction reports and coordinate with concerned departments regarding discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit regular branch financial and accounting reports.
• Monitor accounts receivable and assist in following up outstanding balances.
• Review Sales, Aftersales, and Parts transactions and ensure proper recording and supporting documentation.
• Assist in monitoring branch expenses and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
• Prepare and review journal entries and other accounting records as required.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents and records.
• Coordinate with the Head Office Accounting Team regarding branch financial concerns, reports, and requirements.
• Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documents and information.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Provide accounting-related support and guidance to branch personnel when needed.
• Identify accounting and process issues and recommend appropriate improvements.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by Management from time to time.
