Job summary

Resonance Expounder is seeking an Intermediate Bookkeeper in the Philippines who can grow into a Team Leader as the financial operations expand. The role combines core bookkeeping duties with leadership exposure and team development opportunities.

You will handle ledgers, AP/AR, and monthly closes, while coordinating with clients and vendors. A strong eye for detail and solid communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (Intermediate level).
• Associate degree in bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Proficient with QuickBooks and Xero; strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Own a reliable laptop/PC with minimum specs listed in the ad; CB status is a bonus.
• Certifications like QuickBooks ProAdvisor or Xero Advisor are bonus qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ledgers, manage AP/AR, and daily transactions.
• Perform reconciliations of bank, credit card, and ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial summaries and balance sheets.
• Communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
• Help shadow processes, draft SOPs, and mentor junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate ledgers, handle daily transactions, and manage accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR)
• Perform regular bank, credit card, and ledger reconciliations—proactively solving discrepancies
• Assist in preparing clean monthly financial summaries and balance sheets
• Coordinate clearly and confidently with clients, colleagues, and vendors
• Shadow current processes, help build standard operating procedures (SOPs), and prepare to mentor/review the work of junior staff

About you

• 1–3 years of proven bookkeeping or accounting experience (Intermediate Level)
• Associate's degree in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Finance, or any related field
• Highly proficient and adaptable with QuickBooks and Xero
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, high accuracy, and excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must own a reliable personal laptop/PC with minimum specs: Core i5 processor or above with at least 8GB RAM
• Certified Bookkeeper (CB) status (bonus)
• QuickBooks ProAdvisor or Xero Advisor Certifications (bonus)
