Job summary

Outsourcey in the Philippines is seeking an experienced accounts payable professional to join our growing finance team. You will process supplier invoices promptly, record payments accurately, reconcile statements, and maintain clear communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has at least 2.5 years in AP or similar roles, excels in MS Excel, and is proficient with MYOB, Xero (preferred), or SAP.

Qualifications

• 2.5+ years experience in accounts payable or similar role.
• Proficient in invoice processing and vendor management.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting software MYOB, Xero (preferred) or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices promptly and accurately with required approvals.
• Record all payments in the system and allocate correctly.
• Reconcile supplier statements with company records and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain strong communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Generate regular accounts payable reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and tax/GST requirements.
• Identify process improvements and support system/workflow enhancements.

Minimum 2.5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in invoice processing and vendor management.Proficiency in using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero (preferred), or SAP, along with advanced skills in MS Excel for financial reporting and analysis.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company standards.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Core responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices promptly and accurately, ensuring all supporting documentation and approvals are in place before payment.
• Manage the timely and accurate recording of all payments in the financial system, ensuring correct allocation to accounts.
• Reconcile supplier statements with company records to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain strong communication with suppliers, addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues in a professional manner.
• Generate regular accounts payable reports, including aged payables and reconciliation summaries, for review by management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations, including adherence to tax and GST requirements.
• Assist in improving accounts payable processes by identifying inefficiencies and contributing to system or workflow enhancements.
