Job summary

Acquire Intelligence is a global outsourcer delivering contact center and back office services. We are seeking a Billing Specialist to manage invoicing, ensure SLA compliance, and optimize cash flow.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with lawyers, and continuous process improvement within our billing operations. You will work with eBilling systems and Aderant, handling pre-bills, WIP, reversals, and disbursements while aligning rates to client agreements.

Qualifications

• When applying, show billing management experience in the legal or professional services sector.
• Experience with Aderant and eBilling is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication.
• Proven ability to manage projects, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clarity and compliance in bill narrations for eBilling systems.
• Conduct compliance checks based on client SLAs.
• Develop expertise in the Firm’s billing systems through training.
• Manage email communications by sending bills and pre-bills to clients and lawyers.
• Collaborate with partners to flag and address write-offs.
• Coordinate with fee-earners to gather/pre-bills and manage WIP.
• Prepare and analyze WIP reports for billing per SLAs.
• Handle bill reversals and communicate billing plans to lawyers.
• Process disbursements to final bills and ensure rate alignment with client agreements.
• Contribute to Firm projects and ensure billing docs are saved in FileSite.
