Job summary

Emapta is seeking a Billing Compliance Specialist to support U.S.-based commercial construction projects. You will review compliance requirements, coordinate with project stakeholders, and maintain reliable financial records.

This hybrid role in Pampanga offers a night shift with onsite to hybrid transition after onboarding. Responsibilities include managing pay applications, lien releases, and subcontractor payments, while collaborating with project teams to ensure accuracy and timely billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of combined experience in billing, compliance, or administrative support.
• Familiarity with basic construction accounting and billing principles.
• Understanding of project accounting functions including pay applications, lien releases, sub-tier reviews, joint checks, and subcontractor payments.

Responsibilities

• Review and request required billing documents including preliminary notices and lien releases.
• Monitor documentation requirements to ensure accurate and timely subcontractor payments.
• Pre-review subcontractor compliance documents before funding is received.
• Assist in running, reviewing, and compiling project reports.
• Communicate with Project Administrators and subcontractors to resolve billing and compliance issues.
