Job summary

AECOM Philippines, Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Accountant to support end-to-end accounting for assigned projects. You will coordinate with stakeholders to drive timely and accurate project financials in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in project accounting, strong knowledge of revenue recognition, and familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or BlackLine. Night shifts are required in Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent relevant courses.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Project Accounting.
• Knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycle, project accounting concepts & methodology, and contract types.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and long-term construction contracts is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Teams.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) or BlackLine is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end project accounting lifecycle for assigned accounts and projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to execute processes for project completion.
• Review project financials for accurate revenue recognition.
• Conduct in-depth project analysis and provide findings.
• Suggest process improvements and resolve technical issues.
• Assist Team Lead/Manager with escalations and disputes.
• Maintain SOP/DTP and incorporate updates.
• Participate in audit-related activities and respond to audits.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.
• Propose alternatives and help resolve issues.
