Job summary

MedSpecialized, Inc. is seeking a Billing and Collections Specialist to manage customer accounts, process payments, and generate invoices from QuickBooks.

The role requires strong English communication and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams to resolve disputes promptly. The position is office‑based in Cebu City with a graveyard shift (11 PM–8 AM) and relocation support for hires from outside Cebu; salary is 24,000 PHP per month plus a 5,000 PHP new hire bonus and a 2,000 PHP monthly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance required.
• At least 1 year of billing and collections experience preferred.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and CRM tools.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer current accounts.

MedSpecialized, Inc. is looking for a Billing and Collections Specialist!

General Description: The Billing and Collections Specialist provides financial information to management and serviced clients by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.

Work Schedule and Arrangement: 11 PM – 8 AM, office‑based.

Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining customer current accounts
• Processing payments and ensuring timely follow‑up
• Investigating the history of accounts and current status of clients
• Reaching out to clients via calls to remind them of outstanding balances
• Coordinating respective teams for any disputes
• Resolving billing discrepancies and disputes promptly
• Processing payments using third‑party merchants
• Conducting periodic audits of customer accounts to ensure accurate billing aligned with services provided
• Identifying and rectifying errors or discrepancies in billing records
• Maintaining professional and effective communication with customers, providing assistance and support throughout the collection and billing process
• Creating accounting/billing reports in QuickBooks
• Generating and distributing accurate client invoices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
• At least 1 year of billing and collection experience
• Preference for graveyard shift work as clients are not based in the Philippines
• Proficiency in accounting tools such as QuickBooks and other CRM tools
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Knowledge of billing procedures and comfort handling customer disputes
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Willingness to work and relocate to Cebu
• Time management, data entry, and general math skills
