Job summary

Baker McKenzie is seeking a Billing Analyst to provide Billing Services to its offices. The role involves preparing invoices, drafting narratives, and finalizing invoices for payment in a hybrid Manila setting. You will maintain client billing information and resolve issues with guidance as needed.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and prior billing experience, with strong English communication and attention to detail, able to work in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business/commerce/finance or related field.
• Prior experience in a billing role or professional services environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting/finance principles and billing processes.
• Knowledge of SAP/finance systems is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices per Firm billing policies and guidelines.
• Draft, review and revise narratives; finalize invoices for payment.
• Execute time/cost transfers and other billing adjustments.
• Maintain and update client billing information and requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues with guidance from management when needed.
• Work independently with limited supervision to meet objectives.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with diverse audiences.
• Handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
