Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Billing Analyst to accurately prepare, validate, and issue customer invoices on-site at Harton Corporate Center, Baclaran Parañaque. You will ensure documentation, contractual compliance, and SLAs are met, while coordinating with multiple departments to verify billable items and support collections.

The role requires 1–3+ years in billing, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1 to 3+ years of billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable experience.
• High level of computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
• Strong knowledge of billing and invoicing processes with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare billing inputs from timesheets, service logs, and contracts and validate accuracy.
• Generate and post invoices and credit notes in the ERP system within defined cycles.
• Ensure all billing transactions have complete documentation for audit purposes and comply with policies and tax requirements.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries; escalate as needed.
• Liaise with multiple departments to validate billable items and support collections by ensuring accurate invoicing.
• Monitor billing schedules to meet SLA targets and prepare regular billing status reports.

Your Role

As a Billing Analyst, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, validation, and issuance of customer invoices. You will ensure all billing transactions are supported by appropriate documentation, comply with contractual terms, and meet internal controls and service level agreements (SLAs).

Your Day-to-Day Tasks

• Prepare billing inputs based on operational data such as timesheets, service logs, and contracts. Validate billing accuracy, including rates, quantities, and billing periods.
• Generate and post invoices and credit notes in the ERP system, ensuring timely issuance in line with defined weekly, fortnightly, or monthly billing cycles.
• Ensure all billing transactions are supported by complete documentation (e.g., POs, contracts, service records) for audit purposes. Maintain compliance with company policies, tax requirements, and billing guidelines.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries. Perform detailed reconciliations between source data and invoiced amounts, and escalated exceptions requiring approval or clarification.
• Liaise with multiple departments to validate billable items and service delivery records. Support the Credit Control team by ensuring highly accurate invoicing to facilitate smooth collections.
• Monitor billing schedules to meet SLA targets and prepare regular reports on billing status, discrepancies, and adjustments.

What You Need

Non-Negotiables

• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1 to 3+ years of solid experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable.
• High level of computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Strong knowledge of billing and invoicing processes, combined with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Skills / Expertise

• Previous experience working within a Shared Services or BPO environment is a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge and experience using major ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle).
