Job summary

CKI BUILDERS & ENGINEERING SERVICES in Quezon City is seeking an Estimator to handle assigned estimating tasks and bid submissions. The role includes preparing cost estimates, budgets, and coordinating with the engineering team for project overviews.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, is proficient in MS Excel, and has familiarity with Solidworks and Planswift. A license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree required.
• License is a plus.
• Experience with cost estimation and budgeting in construction projects.

Responsibilities

• In charge of estimating works and submission of bid proposals.
• Attend pre-bid conference and record queries in pre-bid checklist.
• Prepare a report and brief the engineering department on project overview.

Job description

• In charge of assigned estimating works & submission of bid proposals as per schedule

• Attend pre-bid conference; making sure that queries and other related concerns are adequately recorded and fill up the pre-bid checklist

• Prepare a report and brief the engineering department on the project overview

• Prepares cost estimates by breaking down the items of work using a standard format and determining the cost of each item from experience and a database of current construction cost information.

• Prepare the initial budget for the project, and evaluate the submitted operation’s budget

• Define the scope of the cost estimate

• Define assumptions and/or constraints

• Finalize cost estimate

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Civil Engineering
  License if a Plus

• Familiar with Solidworks, Planswift, and other engineering tools

• Proficient in MS Excel
