Job summary

Pathland Development Corp. in Metro Manila seeks a Civil Engineer with a focus on cost estimation and quantity surveying.

You will prepare BOQs, monitor project costs, perform site measurements, and assist in variation orders while ensuring compliance and quality. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience in land development and SDP preparation.

Job description

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for civil engineering projects

2. Monitor and control project costs, including budget forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis

3. Conduct site inspections and measurements to verify project progress and material quantities

4. Prepare variation orders and claims documentation for scope changes and project modifications

5. Liaise between the design team and project management to ensure cost-effective solutions

6. Maintain detailed project records and documentation.

7. Provide technical support during the construction phase, including quality assurance and compliance monitoring

8. Assist in risk assessment and mitigation strategies for project delivery

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering, with demonstrated expertise in quantity surveying and cost estimation

2. knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

3. Experience in Land Development.

4. Knowledgeable in preparing SDP

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

6. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail

7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment whilst managing independent responsibilities

8. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

9. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
