Job summary

Biosite Medical Instruments, Inc. is seeking a skilled Bidding Specialist to manage government and private bid processes. The role requires handling invitations, proposals, and document control with cross-functional coordination across Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, and Regulatory teams.

The candidate must have real bidding experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy and compliance in all bid documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• At least two years of bidding, tender preparation, or bid documentation experience.
• Experience in government bidding or private-sector tendering required.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Applicants without relevant bidding experience may not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Review ITTs, RFQs, RFPs, and bid instructions for compliance.
• Prepare bid checklists, timelines, and submission plans.
• Gather and validate technical, legal, financial, regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and finalize bid documents per requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, and Operations.
• Assist in price schedules and financial bid documents.
• Conduct quality and compliance checks to minimize errors.
• Facilitate bid submissions within official deadlines.
• Maintain bid trackers, calendars, and document repositories.
