Job summary

MC GEOMETRIC PROPORTIONS INC. is seeking a Batch Plant Supervisor to oversee daily concrete production, manage plant staff, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You will supervise batching, dispatching, materials testing, and equipment maintenance while coordinating with drivers and management to meet project schedules.

Requires 2–5 years in batching operations or related field, with a HS diploma or technical degree, knowledge of concrete mixes, and OSHA or TESDA credentials.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or technical/bachelor’s in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years in concrete batching plant operations or related field.
• Technical: Understanding of concrete mix designs and batch control systems.
• Maintenance: Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Soft: Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills; coordinate with drivers and management.

Job Description

• Production Management: Oversee the daily mixing, batching, and dispatching of concrete to meet project or customer schedules.
• Quality Control: Monitor raw materials and test concrete mixes to ensure they match exact specifications and industry standards.
• Team Leadership: Direct plant operators, drivers, and loaders; assign daily tasks; and manage team performance.
• Equipment Maintenance: Schedule routine maintenance, handle basic troubleshooting, and coordinate major repairs for plant machinery.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety rules and environmental regulations (such as OSHA guidelines).
• Inventory & Reporting: Keep track of raw material stock, record batch outputs, and complete daily production logs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or a technical/bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of working experience in concrete batching plant operations or a related construction/manufacturing role.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of concrete mix designs, raw materials, and computerized batch control systems.
• Maintenance Skills: Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Soft Skills: Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and management.
• Certifications: Relevant safety certifications (like OSHA) or local technical credentials (such as a TESDA National Certification in batching plant operations) are a plus.
