Job summary

DMCI Homes in Pasig City seeks an experienced Maintenance Planning and Management professional to lead repair and maintenance of batching plants and related equipment. The role focuses on maximizing equipment availability, implementing preventive maintenance, and driving cost efficiency.

Responsibilities encompass supervising daily tasks, monitoring performance and spare parts, ensuring safety and EHS compliance, and coordinating with HR for staff development.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer
• At least two years of experience in the Ready-Mix Concrete Industry or equipment management field
• Knowledgeable in batching plant systems, processes, and equipment operations
• Skilled in repair and maintenance of batching plant equipment, transit mixers, concrete pumps, and support equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of implementing process improvement initiatives
• Strong leadership skills with competencies in planning, supervision, safety compliance, and manpower management

Responsibilities

• Supervises and monitors repair and maintenance activities based on equipment standard checklists and procedures to ensure maximum equipment availability
• Records daily equipment operating hours, kilometer readings, fuel consumption, repair costs, concrete volumes delivered/pumped, and other operational data
• Monitors preventive maintenance schedules and forecasts parts lifespan for all equipment
• Summarizes and submits Monthly Production Reports with recommendations on equipment optimization, repair cost reduction, and spare parts control
• Conducts regular performance reviews of equipment based on utilization, fuel consumption, repair activities, and maintenance costs
• Checks and monitors manpower performance based on Job Order Monitoring which includes the work duration, cost and back job work to correct and improve the quality and efficiency of work
• Plans, supervises, and monitors daily manpower tasks to ensure optimal work hours and efficient task accomplishment
• Monitors spare parts availability and inventory levels to avoid delays in repairs and maintains operational readiness
• Reviews and identifies effective spare parts based on performance, availability, and cost, and recommends replacements when necessary
• Ensures compliance with government-mandated safety and environmental laws
• Enforces safety standards and good EHS practices in the workplace
• Reviews and acts on safety, health, and environmental issues affecting employees and operations
• Coaches, evaluates, and recognizes staff performance based on agreed Key Result Areas (KRAs)
• Assesses competencies of direct reports and identify training or developmental needs
• Coordinates with HR on training, scheduling, disciplinary actions, hiring, and other personnel concerns
