Good Neighbors seeks a Disaster and Risk Reduction (DRR) Assistant to support programs across national and CDP areas. You will monitor hazards and help inform management about events that could lead to a disaster.
A Bachelor’s in DRM or related fields is required, with at least one year of DRRM or emergency response experience; familiarity with PAGASA/PHIVOLCS sources is a plus.
The DRRM Assistant will facilitate programs and activities under the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management sector to be implemented at the national and Community Development Project (CDP) areas. S/he will be primarily in-charge of hazard monitoring and keeping the management informed of hazard events especially those that could possibly lead to a disaster.
