Job summary

East West Banking Corporation is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee store operations and deliver excellent customer service while complying with banking regulations.

The role involves supervising branch activities, achieving profitability targets, and coordinating with Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, and Consumer groups. On-site work arrangement across Metro South branches is required.

Qualifications

• College graduate, preferably any Business or Accounting-related course.
• With at least five (5) years supervisory experience in handling in branch operations.
• Preferably Assistant Managers from another bank with the same experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and AMLC requirements, including opening new accounts, monitoring, and reporting transactions, maintaining KYC records, updating customer information, issuing manager's checks, and managing remittances.
• Oversee and approve a variety of over-the-counter transactions beyond teller authority, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, manage time deposit placements, and aim for excellent customer experiences with efficient processing and error management.
• Ensure prompt acknowledgment, logging, reporting, and resolution of complaints, and verify accurate completion of the complaint tracking register with all necessary information.
• Ensure accurate recording of daily store transactions based on Teller totals and documents, manage temporary accounts timely, and reconcile General Ledger balances with subsidiary ledgers/records.
• Assist in achieving Stores profitability target.
