Job summary

MINDPRO RETAIL INC. Affliate of SM Retail is seeking a Bakery Supervisor to lead daily production in a fast-paced bakery. The role focuses on maintaining quality standards while optimizing labor and materials across the commissary and bakery operations.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and NCII, strong leadership, and hands-on experience in bakery production and inventory control. A commitment to safety and cost efficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hotel/restaurant management or related field.
• NCII in Bread & Pastry preferred.
• Proven bakery/commissary operations experience advantageous.
• Proficient in bakery operations, recipe development and production techniques.
• Strong leadership and team management with scheduling abilities.
• Inventory management and cost control focus for efficiency.
• Attention to quality assurance and detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to meet targets and quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Allocate resources including workforce, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor processes; ensure quality standards and implement corrective actions.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to reduce costs.
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe environment.
• Maintain records of production metrics such as output and downtime.
• Address and resolve team conflicts or production issues as they arise.

• Preferably has NCII in Bread & Pastry.
• Has proven track record in both commissary operations and bakery environment is advantageous

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to set effective production schedule and collaborate effectively.
• Proficient in inventory management and cost control to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Strong focus on quality assurance and meticulous attention to detail.
