Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Baker-Ovenman to prepare, bake, and ensure the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked products in line with our recipes and quality standards.

You will set up proofer and chiller, operate ovens at correct temperatures, monitor time, maintain cleanliness, and follow food safety procedures in a fast-paced environment; willingness to work shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree.
• Candidates with or without experience are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Hardworking, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Can follow instructions and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Sets up proofer and chiller to ensure proper dough proofing before topping and baking.
• Operates ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.
• Checks the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.
• Handles and stores ingredients and baking materials properly.
• Follows food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Reports damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Assists the production team with other tasks as needed.
