Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Baker-Ovenman to prepare, bake, and ensure the quality of bread and pastries in line with company recipes and standards. The successful candidate will set up proofer and chiller, monitor ovens, and maintain cleanliness across the baking area.

Experience is not required, and candidates with or without prior bakery work are encouraged to apply. Weekend and holiday shifts are part of the schedule in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Properly store ingredients and baking materials; follow food safety procedures.
• Report damaged products, equipment issues, or ingredient shortages to supervisor/manager.
• Assist production team with other tasks as needed.

We are looking for a Baker-Ovenman responsible for preparing, baking, and ensuring the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked products in accordance with the company's standard recipes, procedures, and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures accurate setup of the proofer and chiller to make sure proper proofing of dough is done prior to topping and baking.


• Operates and monitors ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.


• Check the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.


• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.


• Properly handle and store ingredients and baking materials.


• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.


• Report damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.


• Assist the production team with other tasks when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
