Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a diligent Baker-Ovenman to prepare, bake, and ensure the quality of bread, pastries, and baked products according to our standard recipes and quality guidelines.

You will set up and monitor proofers and ovens, inspect product quality, and maintain hygiene in the baking area. Willingness to work shifting schedules, including weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery operations is a plus.
• Good understanding of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced bakery environment.

BreadTalkis a Singaporean lifestyle brand that has gained international appeal for its Boutique Bakery Concept, and we aim to expand and open more branches nationwide. We are looking for a Baker-Ovenman responsible for preparing, baking, and ensuring the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked products in accordance with the company's standard recipes, procedures, and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures accurate setup of the proofer and chiller to make sure proper proofing of dough is done prior to topping and baking.


• Operates and monitors ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.


• Check the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.


• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.


• Properly handle and store ingredients and baking materials.


• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.


• Report damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.


• Assist the production team with other tasks when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
