Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Baker-Ovenman to prepare, bake, and ensure the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked products in accordance with our standard recipes, procedures, and quality controls.

You will set up proofers, monitor ovens, check product appearance, maintain sanitation, and assist the production team in a fast-paced bakery environment; shifting schedules, weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up proofer and chiller for proper dough proofing.

BreadTalkis a Singaporean lifestyle brand that has gained international appeal for its Boutique Bakery Concept, and we aim to expand and open more branches nationwide. We are looking for a Baker-Ovenman responsible for preparing, baking, and ensuring the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked products in accordance with the company's standard recipes, procedures, and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures accurate setup of the proofer and chiller to make sure proper proofing of dough is done prior to topping and baking.


• Operates and monitors ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.


• Check the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.


• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.


• Properly handle and store ingredients and baking materials.


• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.


• Report damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.


• Assist the production team with other tasks when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
