But First Coffee Inc. in Mandaluyong on-site is seeking an Assistant Baker to support the baking team in producing breads, pastries, and other baked goods while ensuring quality and food safety.

You will measure ingredients, assist with assembling and finishing products, maintain clean workstations, and help monitor inventory and waste, with a fixed six-day on-site schedule.

Qualifications

Job Summary: As an Assistant Baker, you will support the baking team in preparing and producing breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked products while maintaining quality, cleanliness, food safety, and proper inventory control.

Work Location: Boni, Mandaluyong City (On-site)

As an Assistant Baker, you'll be responsible of the following:

• Assist in preparing and baking breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked products.
• Measure, weigh, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
• Assist with assembling, portioning, and finishing baked products.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality; report issues promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with receiving, labeling, storing, and properly handling ingredients and supplies.
• Assist with inventory monitoring, stock counts, proper storage, and reporting of low or damaged supplies.
• Help minimize waste through proper handling, portioning, and storage of ingredients.
• Follow food handling, hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Support the team during peak production periods and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Willing and able to work onsite on a fixed six-day workweek.
• Preferably Male; Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting, carrying, and moving baking ingredients, supplies, trays, and equipment as required.
• Previous bakery, pastry, kitchen, or food production experience is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, food safety procedures, and company policies while working effectively as part of a team.
