Job summary

Pax8 Philippines Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer 2 in Makati for a permanent night shift (10pm–6am). The role focuses on building observability and automation tooling to enhance the monthly billing run, and on developing Python services and data workflows at scale.

You will design full-stack solutions, collaborate across Engineering, Product, Finance, and Operations, and mentor others on best practices in observability and automation. Competitive PHP salary with a night differential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a full stack engineer or software developer with backend focus
• Proficiency in Python and SQL (required) with data pipelines or automation experience
• Experience with data modelling concepts and cloud data warehouses
• Familiarity with observability (metrics, logging, alerting) and BI tools
• Ability to work cross-functionally with analysts, ops and product teams

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end observability and automation tooling for the monthly billing run (1st–7th).
• Write and maintain Python services and data workflows at scale.
• Design and maintain full-stack solutions (dashboards, APIs, automation scripts) for stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide others on observability and automation best practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support and Finance to resolve billing issues.
